MYSELF  

My name's Cathrine. I'm 24 and I live in the north-west of Sydney, Australia. I have been playing with websites since I was 14 and still have only a vague understanding of what I'm doing. I code in notepad and do everything by hand... I know enough to get by, but not enough to have valid code.

I moved out when I was 19 and am living on my own again after a stint with a housemate for a year (last year). I think I'm fairly independent. I work in long day care for a not for profit organisation - KU. I love my children and really enjoy my work. I'm part way through my University degree in Early Childhood Education and I'll go back in August to finish it off.

I'm Christian and go to an Anglican church with Tom every Sunday. We dig John Piper and listen to his podcast sermons. God features pretty big in my life and I almost made a "God" section for this website to go along with all my other loves... but decided against it because I doubted I could do it justice.

I'm part Filipino (mum) and part New Zealander (dad). I don't think of myself as being either. I am just me.

MY SITE  

I've been making websites for years. At the moment I'm being hosted by my boyfriend. :) I used to own kit-tea.net but after a couple of years I moved to blogspot to make a music review site. It's called The Singing Cat and it is still up if you'd like to look at it...

My plans for this site are modest. I just want a place to put down my thoughts as well as share my interests in music, nature, words and art. I have to admit my preoccupation with work does mean that I don't often have the time to update as much as I'd like... or pursue some of those interests regularly. But we'll see how it goes.
